The Graduate College invites students, faculty, and professional staff to nominate deserving graduate and professional students for excellence awards in mentorship, scholarship, civic engagement, community building, social change, service, research, and teaching assistance. Select awards also allow for self-nomination.

Students: Did you have an outstanding graduate student as a mentor or teaching assistant? Nominate them!

More information about each award, including eligibility, evaluation criteria, and required materials to be prepared in advance can be found on the Graduate College website.

Submit a Nomination

Please review the award information and required materials prior to starting a nomination form as you will be asked to upload completed documents.

Nominations must be submitted by 12 p.m. EDT Friday, April 22, 2022. Award winners will be notified on or around May 13, 2022 and invited to receive their award at the annual Graduate Student Day awards ceremony and reception!

• Outstanding Graduate Student Mentorship Awards- Sponsored by Undergraduate Research & Enrichment Programs in the Pennoni Honors College
• Drexel Common Good Awards- Scholarship, Civic Engagement & Community Building- Sponsored in part by the Lindy Center for Civic Engagement
• Social Change Awards for Equity- Sponsored in part by the Center for Black Culture
• Research Excellence Awards- Post-Candidacy, Pre-Candidacy, Terminal Master’s, and Most Original & Creative Work (all levels)
• Outstanding Dissertation Awards
• Teck-Kah Lim Graduate Student Excellence Award
• Teaching Assistant Excellence Awards
